The story
A Vancouver wedding venue with a presence all its own.
Jocelyn and Mark chose the Museum of Anthropology at UBC for a celebration surrounded by monumental works, open sky and a distinctly West Coast sense of place. The setting gave the ceremony scale without taking attention away from the people inside it.
Their wedding portraits moved through the Waterfall Building and Jericho Beach, bringing urban lines, shoreline light and the landscape into one story. The day was planned by Smitten Events, with beauty by Faye Smith and florals by Nicola Adam.

The Museum of Anthropology rewards wide frames, but the emotional story is still in the glances, hands and reactions inside them. The strongest photographs let the architecture establish where the day happened while connection explains what it meant.
