The story
The city supplied the texture. They brought the colour.
The day moves through two very different visual worlds: soft morning light and intricate wedding clothes at home, then Gastown’s brick, iron and narrow streets around the couple.
Inside L’Abattoir, champagne, red light and a close circle of guests make the reception feel intimate rather than small. The contrast is the story — heritage architecture and contemporary energy, careful detail and wonderfully unscripted laughter.

I love a wedding where the clothes, food and rituals carry so much visual history. My job is to honour all of that without turning the day into a catalogue of details. The people wearing, sharing and celebrating those traditions always come first.
