Kiran and Shalinder

Since I saw pictures from an East Indian wedding for the very first time, it became a dream for me. Before moving to Winnipeg, I thought it was quite impossible but, guess what: dreams come true!

When Kiran e-mailed us, she already had a photographer for her wedding but she wasn't felling safe or happy with her choice, we are SO glad she chose us to be there and make sure her photos would come out just the way she imagined for such a special day :)

The first photos were for the henna ceremony and Kiran chose a beautiful draw for herself, happy women were dancing, singing and drinking chai. For the ceremony, we started clicking at 3h30 in the morning!!! Our last photo was around midnight and /i did not feel tired, I felt GLAD to be there :)

Their families were so nice to us and having this opportunity to shoot an East Indian wedding for the very first time made us fall in love with the Indian culture and colours, so many colours! This great and gorgeous couple became our friends and I fell truly happy to be part of their lives. Thanks guys <3
